The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable Yardi Support Specialist to join our Help Desk Team. This role is responsible for resolving system issues, optimizing Yardi functionality, and providing user support across a variety of Yardi modules. Whether it is residential, commercial, or affordable housing, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad understanding of Yardi Voyager and its ecosystem, supporting our clients’ day-to-day operations and long-term system health.

You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and Yardi representatives to support new implementations, manage upgrades, and continuously improve system use. You will also contribute to training, documentation, and performance optimization efforts across different portfolios.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Yardi across multiple modules (residential, commercial, affordable housing, maintenance, budgeting, and more).

  • Troubleshoot system issues and track tickets through resolution with timely, professional communication.

  • Support Yardi configurations, user roles, security settings, and approval workflows based on client needs.

  • Assist in module-specific implementations and enhancements (e.g., RentCafe, PayScan, Job Cost, Maintenance, Fixed Assets, Affordable Housing tools).

  • Perform data audits and corrections to maintain system accuracy and integrity.

  • Deliver virtual training sessions and create user-friendly documentation to empower system users.

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to scope new requests and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Support the delivery of custom reports, financial extracts, and ad hoc queries.

  • Participate in Yardi system upgrades, testing, and post-deployment troubleshooting.

  • Maintain accurate records of billable and non-billable time in the time management system.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Yardi in a support, accounting, or systems analyst capacity.

  • Experience supporting multiple modules (e.g., Residential, Commercial, Affordable, Maintenance, Budgeting, and Forecasting).

  • Hands-on experience with Yardi and its ecosystem (e.g., PayScan, Job Cost, RentCafe, CRM, Maintenance, Fixed Assets, Affordable Housing tools).

  • Ability to analyze and resolve system issues while maintaining data integrity.

  • Familiarity with security setup, user permissions, and workflow design.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting, custom financials).

  • Understanding of integration points with third-party tools or accounting platforms.

  • Experience supporting end-users through training, documentation, and change management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Resourceful and independent problem solver with a customer-first mindset.

  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities across client portfolios.

  • Collaborative approach and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Prior experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.
